Tinkering with Technology and Machines

Low tech explorations with circuits and soldering. Old school solutions to new problems. There are more traditional crafts, such as graphic design, that have always caught my eye. But access to a laser cutter definitely does not impede my creative discoveries.

Solar Charger

Jewelry Stand

Mother's Day is always a tricky holiday; coming up with good presents is always hard for the woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. One year, I got an idea to create a jewelry stand that would be one-of-a-kind.

The frame is laser cut, with a base that was sawcut and sanded. The fabric is made from scraps out of gather here, a wonderful shop in Cambridge.
